Review from Composer Lana Walter
Comments from composer Lana Walters on Fire‘s performance of her Magnificat:
“Brava to Ms. Hanson and her singers! This fine group has a lyrical expressiveness that I find enchanting. They pay exceptional attention to the text, using tone and articulation, strength, and sensitivity to bring focus where it belongs. They sound as though they really understand what my intentions were as I was forming my music to this important text. My appreciation to them all for their hard work, their musicianship, skill, and talent, and most of all their heart.”
